Prisons Week 2025 Quilt Exhibition

We will be exhibiting a selection of quilts hand-stitched in prison from 12-18th October as part of Prisons Week. The Fine Cell Work story is one that is based on the belief that change is possible in the most miserable places. Visit the exhibition to see first-hand how beauty, creativity and
excellence can transform lives that are forgotten through the power of
needlework.

 

Our Founding Director, Katy Emck, will be giving a talk alongside the quilts on Thursday 16th October 6-8pm - please do join us if you can.

The Liverpool 2025 Prisons Week Lecture

Prisons Week runs from 12th – 18th October, raising awareness for the needs of all those affected by prisons.

This year, Fine Cell Work's Executive Director, Victoria Gillies, will be in conversation with Revd Canon Dr Ellen Loudon, Liverpool Diocesan Director for Social Justice, to deliver the Liverpool 2025 Prisons Week Lecture.

 

Join us at they explore the role charities play in providing successful and meaningful rehabilitation services to people in prison and prison leavers.
