Make a tangible difference to the lives of some of the most
marginalised people within society
Our frontline services are delivered by a team of dedicated volunteers across the country, making possible the transformational work that we do. Last year we worked with around 200 volunteers, in prisons and beyond.
In fact, our organisation was founded by a prison volunteer, Lady Anne Tree. After tirelessly campaigning to change the law so that people in prison could be paid for the skilled work that they produced, Lady Anne established Fine Cell Work in 1997. You can read more about her, and our history, here.
Volunteers bring a wide range of experience, skills and expertise to the work that we do. We offer a range of volunteering opportunities - whether you are an accomplished stitcher, or are keen to support the wider work of our organisation.
By volunteering with us, you will learn valuable new skills, become part of our creative community, and play a key role in the future of Fine Cell Work.
