Inspired by a piece of graffiti written on a textured wall, talented textile artist and designer, Brandon Mably of Kaffe Fassett Studio, has created a bold and colourful needlepoint design that will make the perfect gift for a special person in your life.

You Are Loved - profound words that Brandon felt we all need to be reminded of, and share - playfully pop in bright colours across the canvas, which is full of texture and movement.

Hand-stitched in prison, this uplifting message is one that Brandon hopes could be shared amongst the stitchers too, inspiring optimism and hope, one stitch at at time.

An intermediate-level project for stitchers, the cushion uses tent stitch throughout and has been finished with a backing of deep red linen and pillarbox red piping.

Brandon Mably

Artist and designer Brandon Mably works across several textile forms and has been the Studio Manager of the Kaffe Fassett Studio for 30 years.Taking inspiration from often unexpected places, Brandon's designs play with arrangements of colour and, in his own words, have his trademark "charming, funky, humorous and primitive touch."

Provides a prisoner with the materials for one tapestry cushion (100 hours of creative activity).
