last year in numbers
It gives us great pleasure to share our latest annual report. Since 1997, we have witnessed what giving people in prison the opportunity to engage in purposeful activity can do.
As well as being a time to look back with pride at the work we accomplished in 2024, you will also find in these pages our reflections, learnings and plans for the coming years.
Stitching has made a huge difference to my life in custody – it has allowed me to help my relatives financially and save some money so I can rebuild my life on release. Mentally and emotionally, it has helped me to grow more patient and to reflect better on what is important to me in life. Stitching is the time in my cell to relax and ponder about life in peace and quiet.
A Fine Cell Work stitcher
Our exquisitely-stitched products have been created in collaboration with leading designers, with the majority handmade in UK prisons, and in our post-release workshop.
Commissioning Fine Cell Work's bespoke design service is easy, and our talented team is here to bring your ideas to life.
From fundraising and donations to volunteering, mentoring and events, there are many ways to support our work.
