We are delighted to be launching a new line of hand-embellished, embroidered cushions with British heritage brand William Yeoward. Long-standing supporters of Fine Cell Work, William Yeoward have built a global reputation for their 'Modern British' aesthetic and exquisite craftsmanship.
Asha means 'hope' or 'wish' in Hindi. The paisley motif signifies harvest time, as well as symbolising life in many cultures.
Textural elements are layered onto the design through delicate French knots and fly, chain and stem stitches, with glossy, coordinating thread emphasizing the underlying design details.
Digitally printed onto 100% linen, this cushion elevates the classic paisley motif and features an all-over coordinating design on the reverse.
This curated collection provides our stitchers with intermediate hand-embroidery work that encourages a honing of skills through an emphasis on accuracy and consistency throughout each of the pieces. The designs are painterly and playful, with a sense of movement and fluidity expressed throughout.
