This is the second time I’ve used the Cushion Make-Up Service and I will be definitely using it again. The quality is fantastic, I have been bowled over both times. I would be using Fine Cell Work even it if wasn’t a social enterprise. The fact that it is, makes it even better.

I was excited about receiving my tapestry made into a cushion and when it came I was completely justified to be as I was over the moon - the colour choices for the piping and backing were outstanding - I would never have thought of them and yet they elevate my cushion into a real piece to treasure - not obvious colour choices but completely perfect . The quality of work was amazing turning my sadly stretched piece of work into an immaculate looking cushion of which I am so proud . I will definitely use this service again worth every penny and so nice to support a scheme like this whilst getting a wonderful service! Thank you !

I like that I can trust Finecellwork to finish my tapestry to a high standard. Its always a big surprise to discover which colours you will choose to pipe and back my work. They are always spot on. I like that I am playing a very small part in helping prisoners and those seeking work after prison.

I had two cushions made up from my own tapestries. I was incredibly impressed by the quality of the work and the choice of colours for piping and backing. I will certainly be using the service again.

I have had at least six cushions made-up by Fine Cell now and each one has been beautifully completed. Having spent many hours stitching the cushion fronts, I wanted the cushions to be made-up to à high standard and they all have been! I love the fact that when you send in the completed stitched design you have no idea what colour backing material the Fine Cell stitchers will choose, but it always complements the colours of the stitched cushion and, as a result, I am always extra excited to receive a newly made-up cushion in the post! The finish is beautiful and while it make take a few weeks and not be the cheapest option, the quality of the service and the fact that I 100% believe in the charity’s aims and vision, i am thrilled to continue to send my cushions to be made up by Fine Cell stitchers!

I was delighted to receive my three finished cushions! I had sent three very different sizes of needlework with no instructions and each was finished, adjusted for size and matched with a different coloured backing. This is a wonderful enterprise and deserves to be widely supported.

I sent in a finished tapestry but apart from ordering piping I left the colours to the experts. its come back looking absolutely knock out and Im thrilled to bits with it. The quality of the fabric and the skill of the stitcher is wonderful. I would not hesitate to use this service again - it just takes years to finish a tapestry! At least it is not more years in a bag now - its on display!

I have had three cushions made up by Fine Cell Work, all done very well indeed. In each case I chose the backing material but I am sure their own choices would be great too. It is lovely to feel I am making a small contribution to people coming out of prison feeling good about themselves by doing skilled work, so important for everyone. Thank you for that opportunity!

Fine cell work has now made five of my completed needlepoints into cushions. They were all different styles , shapes and colour schemes. Each one has been made into a perfect cushion. I left the choice of backing to FCW and each one has been just right. The workmanship is excellent including piping and hidden zip. When you’ve spent countless hours completing a needlepoint , it’s wonderful to have it made into such a professional cushion. The completed product couldn’t be better and it’s great to be supporting such a meaningful charity. I will continue to use FCW and recommend them.

Commissioned them to turn 2 tapestries into cushions. Outcome was wonderful including colour choice and quality of work. Also they managed to turn around production just just before Xmas which I was so grateful for - a very happy mum!!

It was well worth the expense of getting the tapestry made up there. The colour choice of backing was spot on and instead of a wonky tapestry I now have a lovely cushion to remind me of my late mother who did the sewing….

I sent my home-stitched kit needlepoint design to be made up into a cushion. The result was 100% professional, a reasonable price and it felt very good to be supporting the charity in another way.

I only hand sew, so making up uneedlepoint cushions is a bit hit and miss. I had one I sewed for an 80th birthday gift and wanted it done properly. I happened upon Fine Cell Work and the whole concept appealed. I know how absorbing needlepoint is and how impressive and robust the cushions are. I sent my work to you, expecting it to take a few weeks, but it was returned very quickly. I left the choice of backing to you. I can only say it was perfect. The work was so neat and precise, I was proud to send the cushion as a gift. You made my work into something classic and right. I will certainly use Fine Cell Work again. You have some interesting kits too.

The finished cushion was absolutely lovely. The zip was inserted incredibly neatly, they had made piping out of the backing fabric I'd provided so that it matched, and the whole thing felt and looked very robust and high-quality. It was expensive and took rather a long time, but the end result was so much nicer than I could have managed myself and made a lovely gift.
